CPU and memory virtualization have been a common technology for several decades. However, as the ECU consolidation has become increasingly essential in the automotive world, when it comes to virtualization, peripheral devices request a standard and healthy framework for virtualization.

In this session, we will introduce work of AGL virtualization expert group on a common virtual device framework VirtIO and we will be showing related demos from the member companies.
