Connected Vehicle Platform: Kubernetes and Vehicle Service Mesh - Seiichi Koizumi & Aman Gupta, Denso Corporation

Denso develops mobility Edge/IoT platform. It fully utilize Cloud Native OSS such as Kubernetes and Envoy. To solve vehicle technical issues (e.g. No signal small capacity of computing resources) we developed ”End to End seamless orchestrator” and “vehicle service mesh”. Vehicle application used to be an embedded software. By using our platform, cloud native engineers can develop vehicle application on a cloud environment and deploy it on a vehicle seamlessly. No need to learn embedded software. Denso has a strong presence in automotive industry. Our platform will be a trigger to merge cloud native eco-system and automotive software industry. In this session, presenter will explain technical features and architecture of ”End to End seamless orchestrator” and “vehicle service mesh” with running demonstration. The difference from previous presentation is real vehicle demonstration and physical architecture of vehicle inside.
