It Takes Communities and Technologies to Make the Document Localization Work More Fun and Productive - Noriaki Fukuyasu, Linux Foundation

Developer communities are often reluctant to write documentation because, for many developers, the fun part of community activities is writing codes not documents. When it comes to the localization of those documents into the local languages, the situation is even worse. But the localization of the documents is very critical for growing the local developer communities and ecosystems, and eventually, users. We, non-native English speaker communities, must solve this issue. In this talk, I would like to share my thoughts on how to make the localization work more fun and productive that many people would become motivated to participate. It really takes tools (technologies) and working processes (community).
