OpenTelemetry is a relatively new open source project that takes the foundations of OpenCensus and OpenTracing to delivery a robust tool for collecting telemetry data from your applications and infrastructure. One of the hidden benefits of OpenTelemetry is how it supports the longevity of the application delivery chain. This talk will introduce OpenTelemetry, the projects trajectory, and how it supports the long term viability of DevOps delivery chains. In this session we will cover. 1.)
