As distributed ledger technologies move deeper into enterprises, organizations are increasingly looking beyond a “one size fits all” approach to deploying blockchain. While it’s early days in terms of multichain deployments, it’s not too early to be planning a pathway for blockchain platforms to evolve and interact. Enterprises need to be able to confidently move forward with the blockchain platform that best meets their needs today, with the assurance they can integrate and transact with other tech down the road. Hyperledger’s Brian Behlendorf will be joined by Tracy Kuhrt of Accenture and Shingo Fujimoto of Fujitsu, two of the architects of Hyperledger Cactus, for a discussion on this new project aimed at allowing users to securely integrate different blockchains. Brian, Tracy and Shingo will cover: - The growing list of use cases for blockchain integration in enterprise deployments - The business and technical drivers for an open source communication model that lets permissioned blockchain ecosystems exchange any on-chain data or custom assets, independent of the platform - An overview of the modular, extensible architecture of Hyperledger Cactus
